Fiction is for Liars

Summer nights on Cape Cod commence. Tonight I was lucky enough to have dinner with a friend on my deck, watch the Sox lose and enjoy a couple Sam Summer Brews. You really can't complain (besides the whole Sox thing, which was a good game) about a night like that.

Just reflecting now as we are recording - and things are going well. The songs are coming out killer through the basic tracking process. This is probably the most boring aspect, especially through my drumming parts, but it is flowing well. Becker flies in for a late July vocal session and then we are back to playing some shows.

Happy to be doing what I'm doing in a band. I virtually ran into an old friend who has music as a big part of his life, and I saw a bunch of pictures of him tonight, and he's never smiling. I'm smiling, baby....happy to be where I am.

Test

New site...do you like me?

Bugs to be worked out over the next day or two. New player on the right, better colors. One thing I can't figure out - this box and the one to the right are not supposed to be at 100% opacity. In IE it is solid. Thoughts? Just because I probably have an old version of IE?

Also, the MySpace has been updated in similar fashion....

Yesterday the great Nick Zampiello of New Alliance East mastered our three song ep. It sounds double hott at this point. The songs are up and available for download at the myspace. They will be here soon.

Listen to Nick's band, The Campaign for Real-Time. Also, visit the guys from New Alliance, they just set up a new studio in Cambridge, and Alvan loves to give tours.

Hello.

Welcome.

This is the home of the Thumbprint Railway Co. Soon, there will be a much fancier page with bells, whistles, and moving flashy things. It will be exciting.

For now, enjoy the music to your right, which is also downloadable via the "media" page. Our next show is this Thursday 4.19, at the Bulfinch Yacht Club in Boston.
